How this affects a run
Cave provides Rock, Ground, and Flying encounters, including Zubat, Geodude, Roggenrola, and Noibat families. The boss list has evolved entries such as Crobat, Gigalith, and Noivern. An ordinary pool and a boss pool are different parts of the encounter system and should not be combined into a single uniform chance.
The reviewed exits are Badlands, Lake, and Laboratory, with Laboratory forming a useful rare-biome route. Abyss, Seabed, and Tall Grass appear as incoming connections. The Cave–Lake–Swamp–Tall Grass loop is a route option, not the only way to leave Cave. A route table is more useful here than a promise of finding a specific monster during one visit.
