PokéRogue tier list
v1.12.2.3 · checked 2026-11-03
Our Classic tier list compares ten featured base forms: A for immediate team anchors, B for picks whose value depends more on setup or form choices, and C for development or ability-management projects. Grades are editorial priorities, while the linked species pages supply the factual stat and ability records.
| Kingambit | A | High Attack and Defense; plan around its low Speed | 550 | Defiant / Supreme Overlord | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
| Gengar | A | Fast special attacker; low physical bulk calls for support | 500 | Cursed Body | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
| Miraidon | A | Fast special-attacking base line; a high-cost team anchor | 670 | Hadron Engine | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
| Calyrex | B | Base form is balanced; rider-form items change its role | 500 | Unnerve | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
| Zygarde | B | Physical bulk and Attack; form conditions matter | 600 | Aura Break | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
| Manaphy | B | Even base stats; its move set determines the setup role | 600 | Hydration | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
| Necrozma | B | Strong mixed base stats; alternate forms need a separate plan | 600 | Prism Armor | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
| Gimmighoul | C | A development pick: modest base stats before evolution | 300 | Rattled | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
| Cosmog | C | An evolution investment rather than an immediate attacker | 200 | Unaware | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
| Regigigas | C | High stats with a restrictive base ability to account for | 670 | Slow Start | Editorial rank; source-linked species facts |
Read the tiers as planning priorities for these ten base forms, rather than a measure of every possible team. An evolved Gimmighoul or a rider Calyrex has a different stat line from the listed starting form. Moves, unlocks, candy reductions and your available starter points determine whether a particular anchor fits. The starter guide gives a separate ten-point Grass, Fire and Water team.
Questions
How were the tiers assigned?
These are our editorial choices based on base stats, ability tradeoffs and the amount of development a pick needs. They are not an official or community-voted ranking.
Do the grades apply to alternate forms or Endless?
This comparison uses the named base forms for Classic planning. Form-specific roles and Endless strategies have separate guides.
