“Freezing” is several bugs. Match the moment it stops: after login, at a random wave, or when the game writes a save.

Mobile “not working” sometimes means a zoom gesture, which is issue 7462, or an empty party on Android in issue 7574. Those are not the same as a desktop tab going white.
I do not have a single setting that clears every freeze. Hardware acceleration is discussed on the slow page. A freeze with an SSL line in the console is the Mac report, not a graphics toggle.

It freezes only when saving on a Mac.
