Mobile, desktop, and the missing download
v1.12.2.3 · checked 2026-11-03
The playable build is https://pokerogue.net/. I have found no official Steam page, App Store listing, or APK from Pagefault Games.
The site ships a web manifest with fullscreen display and start_url /. Adding it to a home screen is a browser shortcut plus a service worker. It is not a native app, and it does not make the game playable with the network gone. Offline search traffic usually wants a file. I will not host one.
Third-party wrappers exist. One public repository, Pokerogue-App, is a community project, not a Pagefault release. I link the public game page and the manifest, and I do not link an installer. Phone controls are the browser’s own taps. The wiki controls page does not print a gesture map, so I am not inventing one.
Questions
Does PokéRogue need a ROM?
The public game page loads by itself. I have not found a ROM requirement on pokerogue.net.
Can I install it on a PC?
Use the browser. A home-screen or desktop shortcut is still that same site.
