How this affects a run
A Manaphy Egg is a separate egg category. The ordinary gacha version can hatch either Manaphy or Phione: the documented split is one in eight versus seven in eight. A Manaphy Egg bought using candies is guaranteed to hatch Manaphy. Read the acquisition route before treating every egg with that label as the same chance.
Manaphy itself does not evolve, and Phione is not its pre-evolution. Its six base stats are all 100, for a total of 600, while Hydration is the ordinary ability and Primordial Sea the unlockable passive.
