How this affects a run
The Elite Four sequence occupies waves 182, 184, 186, and 188. These are four separate fights leading into the champion at 190, rather than one four-opponent battle. Members come from a single generation in the reviewed Classic and Challenge rules, with Mono Gen challenges determining the matching generation.
Each member is a type specialist, but party composition can vary. The reviewed description includes one Terastallized party member and a base-stat floor for random slots. First-defeat and repeat-defeat vouchers are different rewards: Egg Voucher Plus for a first defeat and an ordinary Egg Voucher later. Prepare for a sequence of type matchups rather than assuming one fixed six-member team copied from a main-series game.
