How this affects a run

Classic and Challenge place Eternatus at wave 200. The encounter begins as a single battle and becomes a double battle after Eternamax transformation. Its multi-bar HP rules make ordinary damage calculations incomplete: the last shield is subject to the phase transition and cannot simply be skipped by assuming one large attack ends the fight.

Transformation clears status and Leech Seed, while stat-stage changes carry over in the reviewed description. The phase-two move set differs from phase one and includes Recover with one PP. Catching is a separate account gate requiring every other starter unlocked. The Master Ball rule belongs to that eligible catching state; owning the ball alone does not remove the account requirement.
