How this affects a run

The Global Trade System presents ordinary trade offers, Wonder Trade, an item trade, and a leave option. Ordinary offers use a window within one hundred base-stat points of the offered species. That window is not a promise that the replacement will be stronger or fill the same role.

Wonder Trade uses separate shiny and hidden-ability chances, one in 128 and one in 64 in the reviewed rule. A non-shiny, non-hidden-ability result gains a common egg move. The item option upgrades rarity by one tier, while species trades keep the offered member’s held items and count for the Dex. Confirm which option you are considering before comparing its reward with the party member you give up.
